Can't use ShowUI from the CLI

Hi, have been using powergui and powershell ISE to design some interactive scripts for web administration.

ShowUI works really well from both these environments, but if I call the scripts or try to import ShowUI from the CLI (powershell.exe -STA) or run a script from rightclick->run with powershell I get the following error:
out-lineoutput : Exception getting "formatValueList": "Microsoft.PowerShell.Com
mands.Internal.Format.FreeFormatEntry.formatValueList"
    + CategoryInfo : NotSpecified: (:) [out-lineoutput], GetValueInvo
   cationException
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CatchFromBaseAdapterGetValue,Microsoft.PowerShel
   l.Commands.OutLineOutputCommand
Does anyone know why this is happening? I don't want my users to have to use the ISE every time they want to run a script!

Finally figured it out - it was because my home drive is actually on the network. Moving showui to a folder on my local drive and adding it to the PSModulePath (article) fixed the issue.
