I couldn't agree more. For one, I dislike watching videos for any kind of technical presentation - I'd much rather view documentation or even a PowerPoint. With it you have printable material too. In addition, my workplace blocks many video services so I can't even watch these from work where I use PowerShell.

Videos are a poor substitute for written documentation. It can be difficult, even playing at full screen, to make out the difference between a curly brace and a square bracket for instance. Also, cutting and pasting and messing around with the code is a great way to learn. Obligatory: hey you kids get off my lawn.
