ShowUI output

Is it possible to make a grid, that can be sent to Word as a table?

Currently we send output to a delimited txt file, requiring the user to grab the data, convert the text to a table, add borders, etc, etc.

Once done users can interact with the Word table  adding data as needed.

With VBscript we could send the formats to Word and we were done.

Honestly, if what you want is to send a grid into Word, ShowUI isn't really what you're looking for: ShowUI is for building interactive user interfaces.

However, I'm sure that whatever you were doing in VBScript can be ported to PowerShell -- if you want to paste it here, I could probably help, although you'd probably get a better response (and faster) on the forums at PowerShell.com or MSDN.  You probably want to automate the Excel object model...

I would do it with COM automation.  it is a bit compicated but you can do any kind of fancy-ness you want.  I assume that's what your VB was doing.  here isa very simple example . http://www.simple-talk.com/dotnet/.net-tools/com-automation-of-office-applications-via-powershell/
